Pinterest has become a huge part of my creative life, it really helps me to get my imagination going and as far as i can see i'm a pretty colorful gal when it comes to design. When i joined pinterest i thought i wouldn't be too much into it, but hey, it's basically a moodboard, so i'm game!, i have various moodboards in my room, so why not online?

EDUCATIONAL FRIDAY

2nd month, almost the 3rd in my master's, 3rd class: M o n t a g e.
Am i making sense?, alright, so if you guys must know, every friday and saturday i have classes for my master's degree, and today we started a new class named Montage, that at first i was actually a little bit in the "no, thanks" planet but after this 5 hour class i was up to the game. It was actually really interesting learning how filmmaking started and how in the 1920's and before that, people used to film and edit their movies.

One of the things we learned: movement. Peeps in the 1800's - 1900's went crazy when they found out how to capture movement, and how to manipulate it to make it look like what we call it today: movie. But of course everything started with photography and i thank them everyday for it. What would we do without photography?!

Alright, something "new" ('cause i actually had a little bit of it in college) for me today, hopefully for you too.

Headaches are sure some real pain in the... so, it's better to try and keep calm and be peaceful, so for that, i'll leave you a photo that makes my mind go -woooooooooooshhhhhhhh-, i took this picture 2 months ago while i was having lunch with my dad in the Dominican Republic.

HELLO THERE, GOOD LOOKIN'!

Yes, you probably seen this but it is news to me and i'm actually going crazy about it. The Impossible Project is turning iPhone photos into real and beautiful analog INSTANT photos, let's get all the ohhh! and aaaah's! around here out by now.
They've already reached their goal and now its just time to wait for 2013 to get it in our precious hands and play with it.

HATS!

Maybe is fall (it probably is) but i want to find a cute cool hat to rock on this time of the year, i mean, look how cool they look!, i am loving the way they styled it at Saint Laurent on PFW, so chic and effortless. 

And i don't know why but, i would probably add some studs to it, i just want to.

How much a pair of simple heels and cropped jeans can do, its amazing, i'm really digging this simple yet stylish look this girl pulled off in PFW.  The denim on denim trend (i'm all in for) and the simple green nailpolish, perfect. I love streetstyle!

GUADALAJARA

Unexpected trips are sure some of the good ones, last week i went to Guadalajara, México for some personal issues and of course i took the opportunity to get some shots around the city.
I made some friends, you know? like Chaplin and Dalí, and saw the Matute Remus Bridge that lights up at night and changes color.

STATEMENT NECKLACES

I just recently got myself into this trend, the Statement Necklace, the bigger and bolder the better!. I actually i'm in the search for one just like in the second photo above, so if you guys have any idea where i can find it, it would be pretty awesome.
To use this trend you have to keep it simple, so the necklace can do its job and be the center of attention. I paired one of my necklaces with a simple mustard sweater & jeans and it looked damn fine. Give it a try!

JESSICA HEART FOR MAMBO

I've had these pictures in my desktop for like 2 months now and i don't know why i just left them there, so it's better late that never, right?

I love this photographs, they are just plain sexy and i think they caught my eye because they kind of remind me of "Supernatural" (which i'm a sucker for) and the bikinis are so pretty. For next summer, i guess...

BURNETT

Two months ago while i was in The Dominican Republic, i went to an art store and found this amazig painting by Burnett. I love oil paintings and it has a Monet kind of feeling to it, parisian streets and the way the colors are used, i could just stare at it for hours.

The artist, -Burnett- is a tricky one to find on the world wide web, because no one actually knows his/her first name, and there are surely some artists with that last name, but not this Burnett. Anyways, if you guys would like to buy any of Burnett's work, i found this website that sells them.
